The 2026 Annual General Meeting was held on the 16th May 2026 at The Three Daws, Gravesend.
As usual the Society’s three annual trophies were presented at the meeting. Chairman, Tricia Gurnett, handed over the handsome glass trophies to the winners.
THE DEADEYE TROPHY
For Barge publication or Film
Awarded to – DAVID EELES & TONY FARNHAM for the book
“F T Everard & Sons – An Appreciation” – An Appreciation of a Great Coastal Shipowner in Words & Pictures
THE HALF MODEL TROPHY
For Services to the Society
Awarded to – JOHN RAYMENT for assisting with the Archive and for updating the website and creating an online shop
THE COLINDELL TROPHY
For Services to Barging
Awarded to – PETER & SALLY DODDS for their dedication in restoring and sailing MIROSA over a number of years.
